PROBLEM
The existing 3183721/">318-3721 Water Lines Hose can leak on certain D11T Track-Type Tractors due to a material defect in the hose liner. If the existing hose fails, it will cause a loss of engine coolant.

ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the edge of the existing 3183721/">318-3721 Water Lines Hose to see if the hose has a red or orange liner as shown in Image 1. If the hose HAS a red or orange liner, the hose is made from the proper material and NO additional action is required. If the hose has a solid blue construction as shown in Image 2, it should be be REPLACED.
The nut on 209-4590 Band Clamp Assemblies should be tightened to a torque of 7 Nm (66 inch pounds).
