Remove the damper. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Damper - Remove".Note: This procedure demonstrates the removal of the front crankshaft seal. The procedure to remove the rear crankshaft seal is similar, but the procedure requires the removal of the flywheel.

Drill two holes and tap two holes that are separated by 180 degrees on crankshaft seal (1) .
Install Tooling (A) to crankshaft seal (1) .
Slide the hammer in order to remove crankshaft seal (1) from crankshaft (2). Remove seal (1) from crankshaft (2) .

Install Tool (B) to the adapter bore, as shown. Install Tool (C) between Tool (C) and wear sleeve (3).
Rotate Tool (C) in order to expand wear sleeve (3) away from crankshaft (2) .
Repeat Step 5 in as many positions as necessary in order to remove wear sleeve (3). Remove wear sleeve (3) .
