torque converter.Regarding removals, when the removal is a result of a failure of one of the major power train components, the information should be reported in the SIMS Report. Use a standard SIMS Report. Include the normal information, the actual part number that is responsible for the failure, and the actual group number containing part for the part that failed. Use a "R" for Non-DBS Dealers or use an "85" for DBS Dealers for the "Description Code". The serial number or the sequence number of the removed major components should be entered in the first eight spaces of the "Descriptive
