To prevent possible bodily injury, make sure hot hydraulic oil has cooled and all pressure is released from the hydraulic system.
The screed has been removed for clarity. 1. Remove two lines (1). Cap and plug immediately. 2. Remove cotter pin (2), washer (3) and pin (4). 3. Remove cotter pin (5), pin (6) and auger lift cylinder. For installation, reverse removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Auger Lift Cylinder
1. Remove two bolts (1), cover (2), lockwire (3) and rod (4).2. Remove nut (5) and two bushings (6).3. Remove two wear rings (7) and seal assembly (8).4. Remove O-ring (9) and back-up ring (10).5. Remove rod wiper (11) and seal (12).6. Remove O-ring (13), bolt (14) and clevis (15). The following steps are for the assembly of the auger lift assembly.7. Install clevis (15), bolt (14) and O-ring (13).8. Install seal (12) and rod wiper (11). Install wiper (11) with sealing lip facing towards the outside of the cylinder.9. Install back-up ring (10) and O-ring (9).10. Install seal assembly (8) and two wear rings (7).11. Install two bushings (6) and nut (5).12. Install rod (4), lockwire (3), cover (2) and two bolts (1).
