In the 385-0018 Spindle (Rear) (1), the surface for the traction control port is machined too deep. The incorrectly machined port results in the traction control sensor contacting the pickup ring on the axle shaft. Solution

Before installing any new spindles, measure the distance from the outside of the mounting flange to the center of the traction control sensor mounting surface. The distance from the outside of the mounting flange to the center of the traction control sensor mounting surface is 90.50 1.25 mm (3.563 0.049 inch) (A) .If the distance is greater than 91.75 mm (3.612 inch), the traction control sensor contacts with the pickup ring on the axle shaft (if equipped). If any mismachined spindles are found, contact the DSN for resolution.
