PROBLEM
The existing 244-8869 Radiator Wiring Harness is wired incorrectly on certain 793D Off-Highway Trucks. When the existing radiator harness is wired incorrectly it will cause a 171-4 Voltage below normal for the ambient air temperature sensor.

Re-wire the radiator harness at the EE-C6 connector. Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see the attached Rework Procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Use two people in order to remove the top 360-0119 Radiator Grill. The weight of the top radiator grill is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Remove grill to access front upper right hand corner of radiator module; retain (11) 8T-4137 Bolts and (11) 7X-7729 Washers. See Image 1.1.1 for location.

2. Access the EE-C6 connector (the connector on 244-8869 Radiator Harness which connects to the ambient air temperature sensor) and remove it from the connector clip.

3. Re-pin the connector so that C453-YL inserts into position "C" and J842-BK inserts into position "B" see Image 1.2.1 for a table of the correct pin-out.

4. Reinstall the EE-C6 connect to the connector clip.
5. Use two people in order to reinstall the 360-0119 Radiator Grill. The weight of the top radiator grill is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Reinstall the grill using hardware retained from Step 1.
