If the device is viewable but not reporting data, follow the steps below.

When the Product Link PL 522 device displays the symptoms the following list, or is similar to screen shot shown in Illustration 1, then the SIM Card or contacts have been corrupted is indicated:
Cellular Signal
No SIM Card Number
SIM Card Status "Not Ready"
International Mobile Equipment Identity NumberReplace the PL 522 device.

If the Product Link PL 522 device displays the symptoms in the following list, or is similar to the symptoms shown in the Illustration 2 from Cat R Electronic Technician (ET), then a potential modem issue is indicated:
No Cell Signal
No SIM Card Number
SIM Card Status "Not Ready"
International Mobile Equipment Identity NumberReplace the PL 522 device.
