Start By:
Remove the right side pipelayer frame or the left side pipelayer frame as appropriate.
Separate the track.

Use Tooling (A) to raise the rear of the machine. Position Tooling (B) under the rear of the machine and remove Tooling (A).

Use Tooling (A) to raise the front of the machine. Position Tooling (B) under the front of the machine and remove Tooling (A).

Remove the bolts, retainer (1), and the O-ring seal.
Remove the bolts and sheet assembly (2).
Remove the bolts and guard assembly (3).

Typical Example
Install Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device on track loader frame (4). The weight of track loader frame (4) is approximately 1043 kg (2300 lb).

Use Tooling (C) to remove pin assembly (5).

Remove bolts (7) and plate (6).

Remove bearing sleeves (9).Installation Procedure
Install track roller frame (4) in the reverse order of removal.

Install bearing sleeves (9) with the lubrication grooves in the horizontal position. The final installation diameter (B) of bearing sleeve (9) should be 69.58 0.109 mm (2.74 0.004 inch).The final installation diameter (C) of bearing sleeve (9) should be 101.75 0.109 mm (4.01 0.004 inch).
Apply Tooling (D) to seal (8) and the bore before installing plate (6).
Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).
Pack the housing and the bearing for pin assembly (5) with Tooling (E) prior to assembly.
Apply Tooling (D) lightly to the O-ring seal for retainer (1).
