1. Install a 0 to 1400 kPa (0 to 200 psi) pressure gauge with a suitable hose, to test port "G" on the propel valve. It may be necessary to remove the hood of the machine to access the propel valve.2. Secure the pressure gauge to one of the grab handles at the operator's console. The operator must be able to read the pressure gauge while driving the machine. 3. Start engine and run at full throttle. 4. Move the propel lever forward to drive the machine. Observe and record the pressure gauge reading. 5. Stop the machine and shut the engine off.6. The pressure gauge reading in step 4 should be approximately 450 kPa (65 psi). If the pressure reading is too high or too low, adjust the relief valve following the procedure in section H.H. Purge Relief Valve Adjustment
1. Perform the Purge Relief Valve Test (section G). Leave the pressure gauge installed to test port "G".
Be sure to loosen the locknut completely to avoid damaging the seal inside the relief valve.
