Items needed to construct the timing tool.
one 108-2187 Pipe Plug
Rod, 39 mm (1.5 inch) long and a diameter of 8 mm (0.3 inch).
Weld the rod to 108-2187 Pipe Plug.
Install timing tool into eccentric weight housing (16).

Use Tooling (C) and a suitable press to install bearing (15) and bearing (14) to stub shaft (12). Install the O-ring seal to stub shaft (12).

Install stub shaft (12) to shaft (13).
Step 43 through Step 46 may need to be repeated multiple times until dimension in Step 46 is achieved.

Install bearing nut (8) to shaft (13). Tighten the lock screw. Note: The placement of nut (8) is critical to the timing of the eccentric weight.

Apply Tooling (M) to shaft (13).
Install bearing nut (8), stub shaft (12), and shaft (13) to eccentric weight housing (16).

(C) 41.2 4.5 mm (1.6 0.2 inch)
Place a straight object on top of shaft (13). Measure from the bottom of bearing nut (8) to the bottom of the straight object. The measurement must be 41.2 4.5 mm (1.6 0.2 inch). If the measurement is within specification, continue to Step 47. If the measurement is not specification, go to Step 43.

Install weight (9), the eight washers, and eight bolts (11).

Remove timing tool.
Apply Tooling (R) to plug (43). Install plug (43) to eccentric weight housing (16).

Attach Tooling (B) to eccentric weight assembly (7) The weight of eccentric weight assembly (7) is approximately 85 kg (187 lb). Install eccentric weight assembly (7).

Attach Tooling (B) to housing (4). The weight of housing (4) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb). Install housing (4), the 12 washers, and 12 bolts (5).

Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (3).
