PROBLEM
The winding leads need to be inspected on certain C32 Generator Sets that are equipped with 12-lead 1400 frame SR5 generators. The existing winding leads can be mislabeled and therefore not allow for a proper reconfiguration. If reconfigured and the generator is operated, severe generator damage and potential fire can result. This may, in conjunction with other factors or circumstances, result in a risk of personal injury or death.

Refer to Special Instruction, REHS7331, "Procedure for Identifying Mislabeled Leads on 12-Lead 1400 Frame SR5 Generators", in order to verify proper labeling of generator leads. If generator leads are found to be mislabeled, please have your dealer Technical Communicator submit a Global Dealer Solution Network (GDSN) Service Technical support request for further instruction on identifying the correct lead pairs for relabeling. Please include detailed results from the lead inspection in the support request.
