Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Put the O-ring seal and water pump (5) in position. Install the washers and bolts (6) that fasten water pump (5) to the engine.
Install the gaskets and put water pump elbow (4) in position. Install bolts (2) that hold water pump elbow (4) to water pump (5). Install bolts (3) that hold water pump elbow (4) to the cylinder head.

Tighten hose clamp (1) .
Install the lower radiator hose and fill the cooling system to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" topic for the correct fluid and the correct filling procedure.
