Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of the mounting studs for the turbocharger.

Note: Discard the nuts after use. Use new nuts for installation.
Position the gasket and turbocharger (9) on the exhaust manifold. Install nuts (10) and tighten nuts (10) to a torque of 54 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).

Connect hose (8) .
Place tube assembly (7) in position on the turbocharger and install bolts (6) .
Connect tube assembly (5) .
Lubricate the O-ring seal on elbow (4) with Tooling (B) and install elbow (4) .
Position the retaining plates and install bolts (3) .
Connect tube assembly (1) .
Connect hose (2) .
Refill the coolant system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities and Recommendations".
