maximum service life of the machine, perform a thorough walk-around inspection before you mount the machine and before you start the engine.Check that the steering frame locks are not installed on the steering cylinder rods. You will not be able to steer the machine if the steering frame locks are installed on the steering cylinder rods. The steering frame locks must be stowed in the correct location on the rear frame.Look around the machine and under the machine. Look for trash buildup, loose bolts, oil leaks, coolant leaks, fuel leaks, broken parts, or worn parts.Check the condition of the tires. If necessary, adjust the inflation pressure.Check the oil levels, the coolant level, and the fuel level.Remove any trash buildup and debris. Make all necessary repairs before you operate the machine.If necessary, turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position. The battery disconnect switch is normally left in the ON position except when the following circumstances occur.
The electrical circuits need to be in a completely de-energized state for servicing.
The machine has not been used for an extended period of a month or longer.
