Location of the air tanks for the service brake and the retarderThe air tank for the service brake and the retarder are located on the right hand platform. The air tanks contain pressurized air for control of the following systems and components: the service brakes, the automatic lubrication system, the horn and the retarder.The air tank contains a relief valve that will open at a specific pressure. For more information on the relief valve, refer to Specifications, "Relief Valve (Service Brake and Retarder Air Tank)" for the Air System and Brakes.Note: This relief valve cannot be adjusted.
