Operator Notification
If the seat belt is not fastened, and the ignition key is in the ON position, a seat belt reminder indicator will be shown in the LCD portion of the indication display.
Illustration 1 g03893359If the seat belt is not fastened within 30 seconds of the machine being placed into operation, a reminder notification will appear on the graphical display, and an audible alarm will start beeping.The machine is considered to be in operation if any of the following conditions apply:
The left service brake pedal is being applied
The throttle pedal is being applied
The transmission is in any gear other than neutral
The implement controls are being activatedOffboard / Owner Notification
If the seat belt is not fastened within 30 seconds of the machine being placed into operation, an event will be logged on the machine. The event will be stored and can be viewed in the service menu of the graphical display. The event will also be transmitted to offboard machine monitoring systems, such as VisionLink, if equipped.External indicator Lamp
An optional external indicator lamp is available to provide site personnel immediate visual reference of an unfastened seat belt. The lamp is green and on the roof cap at the rear of the cab. When the ignition key is in the ON position. The lamp will illuminate within 30 seconds of when the system detects that the seat belt is fastened, independent of machine operation state.
