2. Remove sheet assembly (1) from the right rear side of the machine. The weight is 85 lb. (39 kg). 3. Remove two bolts on the inside of the sheet assembly. Loosen bolts (2) and remove sheet assembly (3). The weight is 50 lb. (23 kg). There is a spring behind valve group (4). It will fall out when the valve group is removed. 4. Remove two bolts (5) that hold valve body (4) in position. Remove the valve body and the spring. 5. Remove bolt (6) that holds valve body (7) in position. Remove valve body (7).
Do not let valve (8) fall out of the valve body during removal.
Install Pilot System Relief Valve
1. Install valve group (1). Make sure valve (2) does not slide out of the bore. Install one bolt that holds the valve group and tighten it to a torque of 39 2 lb.ft. (50 3 N m). 2. Install the spring and valve group (3). Install two bolts (4) that hold the valve group and tighten them to a torque of 39 2 lb.ft. (50 3 N m). 3. Install sheet assembly (5) on the side of the machine. 4. Install sheet assembly (6) on the rear side of the machine. The weight is 85 lb. (39 kg).5. Add oil to the hydraulic tank until it is at the correct level.Disassemble Pilot System Relief Valve
start by:a) remove pilot system relief valve 1. Remove plug (1) and retainer (2) from the valve body. 2. Remove shims (7) from the retainer. Remove O-ring seal (8) from the retainer.3. Remove spring (6) and valve (5) from the valve body. Remove O-ring seal (4) from the valve body.4. Remove O-ring seal (3) from plug (1). 5. Remove two O-ring seals (11) and one O-ring seal from the other side of valve body (9). Remove valve (10) from the valve body.Assemble Pilot System Relief Valve
1. Make sure all the parts of the pilot system relief valve are clean. Put clean hydraulic oil on all the parts of the valve.2. Inspect all O-ring seals for damage and make replacements if needed. 3. Install three O-ring seals (1) on the valve body. Install valve (2) in the valve body. 4. Install the O-ring seal on plug (3). Install plug (3) in the valve body.5. Install O-ring seal (4) on the valve body.6. Install valve (5) and spring (6) in the valve body.7. Install shims (7) and O-ring seal (9) in retainer (8). Put the retainer in position on the valve body.
