Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.
Position the machine on level ground. Check the visibility and adjust the mirrors for the best vision close to the machine.
Fully depress the service brake pedal until the service brake pedal locks mechanically.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 46 to 80° C (115 to 176° F).
Lower the stabilizers and the blade tip.
Fully extend the bucket cylinder and place the bucket on the ground.
Stop the engine.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system.Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release".
Raise the left console.

Medium pressure manifold (1) Adjustment screw (2) Locknut (3) Relief valve (LS Cutoff) for the medium pressure functionNote: M300D machines can be equipped with one, two, or three medium pressure functions. The following medium pressure functions are from left to right: the hydraulic cab riser function or the offset boom function, the grapple rotate function and the joystick steering (priority function).
Operate the medium pressure attachment against the end position of the cylinders.
Check the pressure at the medium pressure tap.Note: Refer to Table 2 for the correct pressure.
If the line relief valve pressure is not set to the proper specification, adjust the pressure at the appropriate relief valve.
Loosen locknut (2) on relief valve (3) .
While the attachment is stalled, turn adjustment screw (1) , on relief valve (3) until the medium pressure tap is set to the correct pressure.Note: Turn the adjustment screw clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure.Note: Pressure will increase 5000 kPa (725 psi) when the adjustment screw is moved clockwise by one turn.Note: Always make the final pressure adjustment on the pressure rise.
Tighten locknut (2) on relief valve (3) to the specified
