Before measuring length G - I, make sure that the bucket pivots are level. Use the spirit level in order to level the bucket pivot G and link pivot H. Refer to Illustration 10.

Leveling the bucket pivot and link pivot
Measure length G-I. This is the distance from the bucket pivot point G to the intersection point I. Refer to Illustration 8.Follow the instructions below in order to make this measurement.
Attach a string line to the bucket point J and hold the other end of the string over the corner of the square.
Place the square so that one side is aligned with the center of the pivot points G and H, and the other side is pointing toward the bucket teeth. Refer to Illustration 10.
Slide the square along the alignment G-H until the string line and the side of the square are coincident.
Use the ruler on the square in order to measure the length G-I. Refer to Illustration 11.

Enter the Length into the display. Press the "OK" button. A screen that is similar to Illustration 13 appears.

Measure length G-J. This is the distance between the bucket pivot and the bucket teeth. Refer to Illustration 14.

If you have a tilting bucket proceed. If you do not have a tilting bucket proceed to Step 28.
Press the "OK" button. A screen that is similar to Illustration 15 appears.

Measure length K-J. This is the distance from the bucket teeth to the intersection point K. Refer to Illustration 18. Use the spirit level, string line, and tape measure in order to make this measurement.

Measuring length K-J
In order to make this measurement, complete the following steps.
Align a plumb line so that it hangs freely down from the bucket tilt axis to the bucket teeth.
Level and hold the spirit level at the center of the bucket tilt axis.
Using a tape measure, measure the distance along the plumb line from the bucket teeth to the edge of the spirit level that is aligned with the center of the bucket tilt axis. By measuring along the plumb line that you are measuring vertically down from the bucket tilt axis to the bucket teeth.
Press the "OK" button. A screen that is similar to Illustration 19 appears.

Press the "OK" button in order to save the setting and return to the "Bucket" menu. Press the "ESC" button in order to cancel the selection.
Turn the "Power/Setup" switch to the "I" position in order to return to the guidance screen.Tilt Bucket
The "Tilt Bucket" menu allows you to calibrate and restore both the tilt bucket sensor and the tilt axis angle. It also allows you to set the correct direction for the tilt bucket sensor.
