(1) 191-9638 Pin Assembly, (2) 190-7971 HardWasher, (3) 8T-4186 Bolt, (4) 119-4594 Washers (Shims), (A) Link AssemblyIllustration 1
Install the new 191-9638 Pin Assembly and a sufficientnumber of the new 119-4594 Washers (Shims) so that the 191-9638 Pin Assemblywill extend from 0.5mm to 1.5mm past the end face of the link assemblyor the washers (shims). Refer to Illustration 1.
Attempt to install an equal number ofwashers (shims) on both sides of the link assembly in order to keep thelink assembly straight.
Install the 8T4186 Bolt and the 190-7971 HardWasher in the end of the 191-9638 Pin Assembly. Tighten the bolt to a torqueof 55+/-10 Nm.
When the final torque is reached, ensurethat the 190-7971 Hard Washer is making contact with the end of the pin,and is not making contact with the link assembly or with the washers (shims).
Recheck the pin assembly to ensure that the pinextends from 0.5mm to 1.5mm past the end face of the link assembly or thewashers (shims). There should be no compression between the washers (shims)and the 190-7971 Hard Washer or between the link assembly and the 190-7971Hard Washer.
Repeat the above steps for the a-pin on the oppositeside.
Remove the lift arm brace. Refer to "Loader LiftArm Brace Operation" in the Operation And Manual for your machine.
Group 2
Park the mchine on level ground. Referto "Machine Parking" in the Operation And Maintenance Manual for your machine.
Raise the loader arms and apply the loaderarm lift brace. Refer to "Loader Lift Arm Brace Operation" in the OperationAnd Maintenance Manual for your machine.
Remove the 4S5875 Retaining Ring, the111-4337 Washers (Shims) and the 238-7715 PinAssembly. Referto the Parts Manual for your machine for further information.
Besure that the lift arm is properly suported before performing this operation. (1) 190-8033 Pin Assembly, (2) 191-9738 Washer,(3) 191-9739 Bolt, (4) 3K-4897 Spring Pin, (5) 111-4337 Washers (Shims),(A) Link AssemblyIllustration 2

Install the new 190-8033 PinAssembly and a sufficient numberof the new 111-4337 Washers (Shims) so that the 190-8033 PinAssembly will extend from 0.5mmto 1.5mm past the end face of the link assembly or the washers (shims).Refer to Illustration 2 and Illustration 3.
Attemptto install an equal number of washers (shims) on both sides of the linkassembly in order to keep the link assembly straight.
Install the 191-9739 Bolt, the 191-9738Washer, and the 3K4897 Spring Pin, as shown. Tighten the bolt to a torqueof 55 +-10Nm (40.5+- 7 ftlbs).
Whenthe final torque is reached, ensure that the 191-9738 Washer is makingcontact with the end of the pin, and is not making contact with the linkassembly or with the washers (shims).
Recheck the pin assembly to ensure thatthe pin extends from 0.5mm to 1.5mm past the end face of the link assemblyor the washers (shims). There should be no compression between the washers(shims) and the 191-9738 Washer or between the link assebmly and the 191-9738Washer.
Repeat the above steps for the a-pin onthe opposite side.
Remove the lift arm brace. Refer to "LoaderLift Arm Brace Operation" in the Operation And Maintenance Manual for yourmachine.
