(16) Carrier The piston motor (1) is connected to the transfer gear group (2). The transfer gear group (2) is connected to the splines on the pinion shaft (14). Power from the transfer gear group drives the pinion in the rear axle (3).

(4) Hitch The transfer gear group (2) and the rear axle are stationary and the two do not oscillate. The rear axle is supported by the rear frame. Hitch (4) which joins the front frame and the rear frame allows the rear frame to oscillate.The power from the transfer gear group (2) turns the bevel pinion (14) in the rear axle (3). The power enters the axle through the bevel pinion. The bevel pinion turns the bevel gear (15) which is fastened to the differential case.Power is transferred through the differential by the pinions (13) and the side gears (12) to the splined shaft (11).
