Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.

Connect Tool (C) to USB port (5) on Tool (A).

Note: Both drums have vibratory speed sensors on each vibratory motor.
Locate vibratory speed sensor connector (6) for the drum being tested. Do not disconnect the connector.

Insert red spoon from Tool (B) into pin "3" of connector (6). Note: The signal wire for the front vibratory speed sensor is H488-YL(Yellow). The signal wire for the rear vibratory speed sensor is H489-GN(Green).
Insert black spoon from Tool (B) into pin "2" of the connector. Note: The ground wire for both vibratory speed sensors is J851-BR(Brown).
Connect Tool (B) to Tool (A). Set Tool (A) to measure frequency. Test Procedure
Move engine start switch (4) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Use throttle control switch (3) in order to operate the engine in ECO mode. Note: Two things indicate when the engine is in ECO mode. First, "ECO" will appear on the display. Second, the second LED next to throttle control switch (3) will be illuminated.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the OFF position.

Use auto vibratory decrease switch (7) in order to set the vibratory system in the manual mode. Note: Two things indicate when the vibratory system is in the manual mode. First, "Vibe Turn On Speed % Manual" will appear on the display. Second, none of the LEDs next to auto vibratory decrease switch (7) will be illuminated.
Use drum select switches (8) and (9) in order to select both drums. Note: Two things indicate when the machine is in both drums mode. First, "Vibe Drum Select Dual" will appear on the display. Second, the third LED next to rear drum select switch (9) and the first LED next to front drum select switch (8) will be illuminated.
Launch the Plus+1TM program on the computer in order to enable the vibe test mode. Note: First time users need to perform the tasks in the Communication and Connections Wizard. This wizard allows the Windows® operating system to recognize the USB device. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Click on "Status" icon (10).
Check "Active Codes" (11). Clear any open "Active Codes".

Click on "Hydraulics" (12).
Click on "Normal Vibe Test Mode" (13).
Click on "Enable" icon (14) in order to enable the "Normal Vibe Test Mode".
When "Normal Vibe Test Mode" is in "Enabled" mode, the Plus+1TM program is launched.

Press vibratory control switch (15) on propel control lever (1). Hold the vibratory control switch down for 2 seconds in order to activate the vibratory system.
Read frequency shown on Tool (A).
Press vibratory control switch (15) in order to shut off the vibratory system.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.
Divide frequency measured in Step 14 by 12. Refer to Table 3 for the correct VPM for your machine. Compare this value to frequency measured by Tool (A). The values should match within 50 vpm.
