Check
Park the machine on a hard, flat surface.
Raise the blade to 3 inches off the ground.
Move the machine in reverse until a track shoe grouser is directly below the center of the front idler shaft. Make sure that the bottom track is tight.

Some components are removed for clarity.
Measure the height (A) from the flat ground surface to the grouser tip that is centered below the track idler shaft.
Maintain the grouser height (rise) to the following dimensions.
(A) Front IdlersMinimum to maximum range - 0.0 mm (0 inch) to 22 mm (0.87 inch)
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 in order to determine the proper height dimension under both front idlers.Adjust

Remove bolts (1) and the washers from idler cover (2) on the track roller frame. Remove the idler covers.

If grouser height (A) is not acceptable, add shims to lower shim pack (C).
Loosen three top bolts (3) and washers (4 & 5) from each side of the track roller frame.
Loosen the three bottom bolts (10) and washers (8 & 9) from each side of the track roller frame.
Remove one top shim (6) that is 8 mm (0.31 inch) thick from each side of the track roller frame.
Move an 8 mm (0.31 inch) washer (8) from bottom position (C) to top position (B).
Replace top bolts (3) in order to secure upper shim pack (B).
Move the machine forward on top of wood blocks in order to free the idler from the bottom shim pack.Note: Jack up the idler yoke as an alternative method to this step.

Center the wood blocks directly below the front idlers. Do not put the block under the track roller.
Loosen bolts (1) and remove idler cover (2). Add removed shim (6) to the lower shim pack (C).

Add shims to both side shim packs in order to maintain the grouser height (A) between 0 mm (0 inch) and 22 mm (0.87 inch).Note: Be sure to add the same number of shims to both the left and right side so the idler
