Use Tooling (K) to install seal (21). Install seal (21) to shaft (19).

Attach a suitable lifting device to shaft 19. Place shaft 19 on top of shaft (20).

Bolt tightening sequence.
Apply Tooling (J) to seven bolts (18). Install seven bolts (18) and the seven washers. Tighten seven bolts (18) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).

Heat eccentric weight housing (14) to 82° C (180° F) to install bearing (17) or use Tooling (C) to install bearing (17) to eccentric weight housing (14).
Apply Tooling (E) to the bolts. Install the bolts, the washers, and bearing retainer (16).

Use a suitable lifting device to install eccentric weight (13) to eccentric weight housing (14). The weight of eccentric weight (13) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb). Install eccentric weight (13).
Install O-ring seal (15).

Raise the temperature of eccentric weight housing (10) to 82° C (180° F) to install bearing (12). If raising the temperature is not possible, use Tooling (C) to install bearing (12) to eccentric weight housing (10).
Apply Tooling (E) to the bolts. Install the bolts, the washers, and bearing retainer (11).

Install two pins (9).

Apply Tooling (E) to three bolts (8). Install three bolts (8). Tighten three bolts (8) to a torque of 34 N m (25 lb ft).

Use Tooling (F) to place lip seal 7 into position on shaft (20). With Tooling (F) over shaft (20), use Tooling (G) to Install lip seal (7). Press down until Tooling (G) contacts with face of housing (14).Remove rubber seal from dust cover (6) and use Tooling (H) to install dust cover to shaft (20) until Tooling (H) contacts with face of housing (14).

Use Tooling (L) to place lip seal 5 into position on shaft (19). With Tooling (L) over shaft (19), use Tooling (G) to install lip seal (7) until Tooling (G makes contact with face of housing 10).Remove rubber seal from dust cover (4) and use Tooling (M) to install dust cover to shaft (19) until Tooling (M) contacts with face of housing (10).

Fill pod assembly (2) with Tooling (N).
Apply Tooling (E) to the three bolts. Install the O-ring seal, sight glass assembly (3), the three bolts, and the three washers to pod assembly (2).
Apply Tooling (E) to the three bolts. Install the O-ring seal, fill plug assembly (1), the three bolts, and the three washers to pod assembly (2).
Use Tooling (P) to verify the shaft end play. The shaft end play should be 1.5 to 3.3 mm (0.06 to 0.13 inch).
