Introduction
This special instruction includes information that is needed to order oversize nonasbestos brake linings.Oversize nonasbestos linings are now available for use with brake drums that have been machined to a larger diameter.Use the table in order to find the correct linings that are used with the standard drum and the correct linings that are used with the oversized drums. The quantities that are shown in the table are for one wheel.The brake drums can only be resurfaced one time. The drum can be machined to 3.18 mm (0.125 inch) oversize. Replace the drum if the inner diameter exceeds the specification that can be found in the table.Table for Brake Linings
