FLYWHEEL AS 2770587 - Caterpillar

1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.2. Remove channel assembly (2), tube assemblies (1) and (4) and channel assembly (3). 3. Disconnect tube assembly (6) from the radiator bottom tank.4. Remove two shield assemblies (5). 5. Fasten a hoist to hydraulic oil cooler (7) and remove the four bolts that hold the top of the hydraulic oil cooler to the radiator. 6. Remove four bolts (8) that hold the bottom of the hydraulic oil cooler in position.7. Lower the hydraulic oil cooler to the frame.8. Install two 7/16"-14 NC forged eyebolts in the radiator top tank. 9. Fasten a hoist to the radiator.10. Remove the two rear hood brackets (9) and bolts (10) from each side of the radiator guard. 11. Remove two clamps (11) from the bottom of the radiator and remove the radiator. Weight of the radiator is 227 kg (500 lb.).Install Radiator
1. Fasten a hoist to the radiator with two 7/16"-14 NC forged eyebolts. Put radiator (1) in position in the radiator guard. 2. Install bolts (3) to hold the radiator in position.3. Install rear hood brackets (2). 4. Install clamps (4) that hold the bottom of the radiator in position.5. Remove the hoist from the radiator. 6. Fasten a hoist to the hydraulic oil cooler and lift it into position in the radiator guard.7. Install the four bolts to hold the bottom of the hydraulic oil cooler in position.8. Install bolts (5) to hold the top of the hydraulic oil cooler in position. 9. Install shield assemblies (6) on the bottom of the radiator.10. Connect tube assembly (7) to the radiator. 11. Install channel assembly (10), tube assemblies (8) and (11) and channel assembly (9).12. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See Maintenance Guide.
