Removal Procedure
Open the engine access door on the right side of the machine. Remove the engine access panel on the right side of the machine.
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove nut (2) and the nut that holds cable assemblies (1) and (3). Disconnect cable assemblies (1), (3), and (4) .

Remove nut (6) and cover (5) .
Remove the nuts from wires (7). Disconnect wires (7) .
Remove bolts (8). Use two people to remove electric starting motor (9). The weight of the electric starting motor is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).Installation Procedure

Use two people to position electric starting motor (9) in the machine. The weight of the electric starting motor is approximately 23 kg (50 lb). Install bolts (8) .
Connect wires (7) and install the nuts that hold the wires.
Install cover (5) and nut (6) .

Connect cable assembly (4) and install nut (2). Connect cable assemblies (1) and (3) and install the nuts that hold the cable assemblies.
Install the engine access panel on the right side of the machine. Close the engine access door on the right side of the machine.
