Use the suitable lifting device in order to raise bucket cylinder (4) until the cylinder is level. Attach a second suitable lifting device to the head end of the bucket cylinder, as shown. The weight of bucket cylinder (4) is approximately 135 kg (300 lb). Disconnect hose assemblies (5).
Remove retaining bolt (6), the washer, pin assembly (7) and the spacer. Remove bucket cylinder (4) and any shims that may be present. Disassembly and Assembly Information

Illustration 3 g01334759Tooling (A) is used for the removal of bearing (1). Tooling (B) is used for the removal of bearing (3). (2) Lubricate the threads of nut (2) before assembly. Torque for the nut 3600 180 N m (2655 133 lb ft) (4) Lubricate the sealing lip with the lubricant that is being sealed. (5) Apply Tooling (C) to the groove of the wiper seal. Be sure that the pin bores in the stick, in the link assemblies, and in the bucket cylinder are clean and free of dirt prior to installation of the bucket cylinder.

Attach a suitable lifting device to bucket cylinder (4). The weight of bucket cylinder (4) is approximately 135 kg (300 lb). Be sure that the pin bores in the stick and bucket cylinder are in alignment. Also, be sure that the grease fittings in the head end and in the rod end of the bucket cylinder are facing away from the stick.
Apply Tooling (G) on pin assembly (7). Temporarily install the pin assembly. Do not remove the suitable lifting device from the bucket cylinder at this time.
Install the shims between the stick and bucket cylinder on the side opposite the retaining bolt for the pin assembly. Install the spacer and pin assembly (7). Install the washer and retaining bolt (6).

Lower the bucket cylinder between the link assemblies. Apply Tooling (G) on pin (2). Be sure that the bore in the bucket cylinder rod is aligned with the bores in the link assemblies. Install any shims that were present during the removal procedure. Install pin (2). Install retaining bolt (1) and the nuts.
Rotate pin (2) until the pin is parallel with the link, as shown. Tighten the outside nut until the nut is 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) beyond the end of the retaining bolt, as shown. Tighten the inside nut against the outside nut to a torque of 237 40
