Front housingNote: Make sure that the fuel pump is removed before the front housing is removed. (3) Tighten the bolts for the front housing to the cylinder block evenly to the following torques: M6 ... 11 N m (8 lb ft) M8 ... 22 N m (16 lb ft) M10 ... 44 N m (32 lb ft)Note: The sizes of the bolts may be different on different engine models.

Locating pin for the oil pumpWhen the front housing is installed, make sure that the following components are installed or adjusted:
Connect the link from the front housing to the fuel injection pump.
Position the locating pin (6) in the hole of the cover plate (5) for the oil pump.
Turn the mechanical stop lever (4) clockwise in order to aid the installation of the front housing.
