B 155-3597 Wheel Chock 4 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Park the machine on a hard, level surface. Engage the parking brake. Use Tooling (B) in order to chock the tires.

Position Tooling (A) under stabilizer rod (1). Use suitable chains in order to secure stabilizer rod (1) to Tooling (A).

Remove bolts (2) that secure bearing (3) and stabilizer rod (1) to frame (4). Note: Note the orientation of the mounting brackets on bearing (3) for installation purposes.
Remove two bolts (5) that secure bearing (6) and stabilizer rod (1) to bracket (7). Note: Note the orientation of the mounting brackets on bearing (6) for installation purposes.
Remove stabilizer rod (1) from the machine. The weight of stabilizer rod (1) is approximately 31 kg (68 lb).
Use a suitable press in order to remove bearings (3) and (6) from stabilizer rod (1). Installation Procedure

Use a suitable press in order to install bearings (3) and (6) in stabilizer rod (1). The bolt holes in the mounting brackets on bearings (3) and (6) must parallel the centerline of stabilizer rod (1).
Position Tooling (A) under stabilizer rod (1). Secure stabilizer rod (1) to Tooling (A). Position stabilizer rod (1). The weight of stabilizer rod (1) is approximately 31 kg (68 lb).
Install two bolts (5) that secure bearing (6) and stabilizer rod (1) to bracket (7). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 530 70 N m (391 52 lb ft).
Install bolts (2) that secure bearing (3) and stabilizer rod (1) to frame (4). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 530 70 N m (391 52 lb ft).
Remove the suitable chains and remove Tooling (A) from stabilizer rod (1). Remove Tooling (B) from the tires. Disengage the parking brake.
