Measure 7 mm (0.28 inch) upward from the piston bore. Draw a line. This will be the closest point between the piston bore and the chamfer.

Use a grinder to remove material from the three piston cavities at a 35° angle. Remove the material until you reach the 7 mm (0.28 inch) line.
Use a grinder to make a smooth transition. Smooth any sharp edges.The caliper needs to be off the machine and the piston boots need to be removed. If you must remove the piston from the bore, ensure that the piston bore is protected against the entry of debris.The new chamfered caliper is adaptable to first production of the following machines:
