Place the boom on Tooling (A) . Lower the stick to the ground.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic oil system.
Place suitable cribbing under the stick cylinder.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2) .

Remove hook assembly (3) from both sides.

Attach a suitable lifting device to boom cylinder (5) . The weight of boom cylinder (5) is approximately 115 kg (255 lb). Remove pins (6) and (4) . Remove boom cylinder (5) .Installation Procedure
Install boom cylinder (5) in the reverse order of removal.
