System Operation Description:Use this procedure to troubleshoot the electrical system if a problem is suspected with the circuit for one of the Pulse Width Modulated sensors (PWM sensors) or if one of the diagnostic codes in Table 1 is active or easily repeated.

3032-3 Turbocharger Compressor Outlet Temperature Sensor : Voltage Above Normal The duty cycle of the signal for the sensor has exceeded 98% for a duration of 120 ms. The code is logged.
The alarm output is activated.
3032-4 Turbocharger Compressor Outlet Temperature Sensor : Voltage Below Normal The duty cycle of the signal for the sensor has fallen below 2% for a duration of 120 ms.
3032-8 Turbocharger Compressor Outlet Temperature Sensor : Abnormal Frequency, Pulse Width, or Period The frequency of the signal for the sensor has exceeded 625 hz .
or
The frequency of the signal for the sensor has fallen below 375 hz .
3282-3 Turbocharger Compressor Outlet Pressure Sensor : Voltage Above Normal The duty cycle of the signal for the sensor has exceeded 98% for a duration of 120 ms. The code is logged.
The alarm output is activated.
The shutdown output is activated.
The engine is shut down.
3282-4 Turbocharger Compressor Outlet Pressure Sensor : Voltage Below Normal The duty cycle of the signal for the sensor has fallen below 2% for a duration of 120 ms.

Components for the PWM sensors
(1) Analog pressure sensor
