G3600The new 229-3639 Overhaul Protection Gp is available to protect one cylinder of any 3600 or G3600 Engine during an overhaul. The new overhaul protection group replaces the former 4C-9515 Overhaul Protection Gp (Vee Engine) and the former 4C-9525 Overhaul Protection Gp (In-line Engine). The former overhaul protection groups are cancelled.The new 229-3639 Overhaul Protection Gp includes the new 229-3611 Rod Journal Cover. This new rod journal cover can be used as a replacement for the 4C-9522 Rod Journal Cover in the former 4C-9525 Overhaul Protection Gp (In-line Engine) and the 4C-9523 Rod Journal Cover (Vee Engine) in the former 4C-9515 Overhaul Protection Gp (Vee Engine).The new 229-3639 Overhaul Protection Gp includes two of the new 229-3608 Protective Plug. This new protective plug can be used as a replacement for the 4C-9520 Protective Cover in the former 4C-9525 Overhaul Protection Gp (In-line Engine) and in the former 4C-9515 Overhaul Protection Gp (Vee Engine). The new protective plug will protect the cylinder liner bore and the openings in the cylinder block when the cylinder liner is removed.
