Place the washer on top of the mounts and slide the long bolt through the mounts. Attach the ground strap to the nearest mounting bolt. Refer to Illustration 5.

Bolt the Product Link module to the weld bosses. If you are not using weld bosses, then bolt the Product Link module to the machine.

Use three existing weld bosses to secure the antenna to the mounting location. Refer to Illustration 7 and Illustration 8.

Antenna Leads (5) and 180-3837 Cable Assembly Wire Ends (6)
The two leads for the antenna are distinct. The leads cannot be improperly connected. Install the heat shrink tube on the antenna leads before the leads are connected.
Connect the antenna leads. Ensure that the leads are not twisted when the leads are connected. Tighten the connectors together with appropriate wrenches in order to ensure that the connector seals are properly seated. Do NOT heat the heat shrink tube until the installation is complete and verified. The connection is verified when the Product Link is able to view satellites.
Route the wiring from the Product Link Module to the locations of the final wiring connections. Remember the following points when you are routing the wiring:
Secure the wiring harness to the cab at 457 mm (18 inches) intervals.
Also, the wiring may be secured to the clips by using tie straps.
Do not route the wiring near any source of extreme heat (exhaust).
Do not route the wiring by locations that may cause abrasion.
Do not make sharp bends in the wiring.
Do NOT shorten the wires for the antenna. Ensure that any excess wiring from the antenna is coiled and properly secured.

Connect the 180-3837 Cable Assembly (6) to the Product Link Module. The ends of the wires for the antenna are unique and the wires cannot be improperly connected.
Ensure that the machine disconnect switch is in the "OFF" position.
Connect the 170-7142 Control Harness As (7) to the Product Link Module.
Route the wiring harness around the sides of the frame of the cab to the existing connector for the product link. Cut the wire to the correct length.Note: Use the same precautions for routing that are described in Step 8.
Use a 1U-5804 Crimp Tool to install a 9X-3401 Connector Pin to each of the wiring harness.Note: Use the following wires for the power source and the ground source: 105-R and 200-B. These wires are located with the following wires: (308-Y) and (403-G). The 105-R and 200-B wires are not used in this application and the wires can be terminated.
Insert the six wires into a 102-8805 Receptacle Kit. Use the following table for the correct pin assignment.
