Remove four bolts (2), four hard washers (3) and cover (1) from the rollers on the rear of the ejector. Discard the parts.

Install new cover (4), gasket (5) and four screws (6) on each roller. Torque screw (6) to 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).Procedure for Reworking the Cover

Remove bolts (3) and hard washers (4) and gasket (1) that are securing the cover and discard the parts. Remove cover (2) from the rollers and save the part.

(A) 40 degrees (B) 19.0 mm (0.75 inch) (C) 10.5 mm (0.41 inch)
Taper the holes for the screws to the angle of (A). Countersink the four holes on the surface of the cover (2) to the dimensions as shown in Illustration 4.

Install reworked cover (2) that was saved in Step 1. Install four new screws (6) and gasket (5). Torque the screws (6) to 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).Note: Verify screws (6) do not bottom out in the threads before the head seats in the chamfered holes.
