Clean emission module coolant leak is suspected to be due to insufficient torque to the clamp that secures the hose.Solution
Caterpillar® is aware of this problem, but a permanent repair has not been identified. As an interim solution follow the repair instruction given below.Torque 428-8808 Hose Clamp slightly more than the specified torque of 7.5 N m (66.3 lb in) until the leak is restricted.Note: Before tightening, inspect the hose clamp for any damage. If found damaged, replace the damaged hose clamp with new part of same part number.
