A 138-7575 Link Bracket 1 Start By:
Remove the electric starting motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Electric Starting Motor - Remove and Install" .
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove bolt (1) and the washer. Remove flange (2) .

Remove two bolts (3) that are spread apart by 180 degrees and install two 5/8-18 NF guide bolts (4) . Mark the top of the flywheel in order to ensure proper alignment during installation.

Install Tool (A) on the flywheel and attach a hoist. Remove the remaining seven bolts (3) and flywheel (5) . The weight of the flywheel is 61 Kg (134 lb) .
If necessary, use a hammer and a punch in order to remove the ring gear from the flywheel.
