This Program must be administered either before or after failure.In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS42399" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
Some early C13 and C15 On Highway Truck Engines must be replaced due to obsolete engine hardware. At the end of this program these engines will not be serviceable, therefore must be replaced.

ACTION REQUIRED
The replacement engine must be ordered using the "New Engine Replacement Order" process. The Caterpillar Dealer should contact their Caterpillar representative to make necessary arrangements to have the engine ordered.
A power supply must be provided for the Caterpillar Regeneration System Purge Air Pump. Some Truck OEM?s may provide a harness for this option. Check with the Truck manufacturer for availability. If no harness is provided by the Truck Manufacturer please follow the attached guidelines for pump supply power.
