Material Mined Time Usage
"Material Mined Time Usage" contains a grid of points that represent the "Material Mined".The grid is sent to a machine to inform the on-board software of the extent of the work already completed, and to allow accurate productivity calculations. The grid is most useful when two machines are working in the same area.Closed polylines are required in layers checked as "Material Mined". A closed polyline can be either a .dxf polyline flagged as a closed or a polyline with the same first and last point. In addition to checking as "Design" the layers used to represent the "Material Mined", the layers can also be checked as "Display". Layers checked as "Display" are displayed on the screen in the machine. The layers can include points, lines, polylines, and text.Creates a grid ORE_MINED from the "DXF" file. The grid does not update site models.Avoidance Zone Usage
"Avoidance Zone" files provide information about general areas on the site that must be avoided. One or more avoidance .cat files can be stored and active at any one time.Avoidance zones are areas defined in the .cat file by closed polylines. These closed polylines are shown as crosshatched areas on the machine display.Avoidance Zone Surface Usage
"Avoidance Zone Surface" files provide information about general areas on site that must be avoided. The avoidance zone surface is an area defined by a TIN surface, the avoidance zone is defined either above or below the TIN surface. An avoidance zone surface file specifies areas defined by both horizontal and vertical that must be avoided. These avoidance zone surface areas are shown as areas filled in with parallel lines on the machine display. Avoidance zone surfaces can be displayed in profile view also.Current Elevation Time Usage
Current elevation time usage generates a grid of points whose elevation is extracted from the current ground surface. Current elevation time usage is used to display the ground surface on the machine display and to calculate values of cut and fill.A "Current Elevation" file can be generated from a DXF file or the office software master current elevation model..dxf File
To grid the surface, a TIN is created and the grid points are then interpolated from the TIN.A TIN created from points, lines, and polylines is the best estimate of a surface that the office software can make from the data. The surface is unlikely to be identical to the original model as the data has been processed again, but should be close. The best way for the mine planning software to transfer this surface to the office software is to use a .dxf file layer containing 3DFACEs. This method allows the office software to convert the surface to a TIN containing the same triangles. If 3DFACEs are not available, create the TIN from the original points rather than from contour lines derived from a TIN..cat files of the type "Current Elevation" cannot contain entities for display only.Current Elevation Model
This model is a grid file that holds all of the current elevations that have been
