Park the machine on a smooth, level surface.
Lower the blade to the ground.

Steering Frame Lock
Install the steering frame lock.

Side Panel (1) Locks.
Use the square key in order to loosen the two locks for the side panel. Remove the side panel in order to access the pilot valve.

Loosen the nut and remove hose (3) from implement lockout valve (2). Install a 8T-8902 Swivel Tee with a 6V-3965 Nipple to hydraulic lockout valve (2). Install hose (3) to the swivel tee and tighten the nut. Connect a 8T-0856 Pressure Gauge with a test hose to the nipple on the swivel tee.
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle. Ensure that the hydraulic oil is at normal operating temperature.
Set the engine speed to low idle. Observe the pressure gauge. The pressure should be 2200 100 kPa (320 15 psi).
If the pressure for the pilot system is correct, turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. Proceed to Step 10.
If the pressure in the pilot system is not correct, check the pressure reducing valve for the proper adjustment. If the pressure for the pressure reducing valve is correct, turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. Proceed to Step 11. Reference: For information about checking pressure for the pressure reducing valve, refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, RENR6097, "Steering Pilot Pressure - Test and Adjust" for the machine that is being serviced.
Release the pressure from the hydraulic system before you remove the test tools. Loosen the nut and remove hose (3). Remove the swivel tee from implement lockout valve (2). Connect hose (3) to implement lockout valve (2) and tighten the nut.Reference: For information about releasing the hydraulic pressure, refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release" for the machine that is being serviced.

Ensure that the engine start switch is in the OFF position. Release the pressure from the hydraulic system. At this time replace the valve or adjust the valve.
In order to adjust the selector and pressure control valve, remove tubing (4) .
Remove plug (5).
Add spacers (6) between plug (5) and spring (7) in order to increase the pressure setting. Remove spacers (6) that are between plug (5) and spring (7) in order
