( 1 ) The VIMS source software and the VIMS configuration software are contained in a single flash file.
( 2 ) This is a special configuration that was developed for use in Canada.Note: The 10.2 class of VIMS onboard software is only compatible with the VIMS Version 4.0 hardware or later. The VIMS version 4.0 hardware is not a direct replacement for the earlier VIMS versions 3.0 hardware and VIMS versions 2.0 hardware. New Features
The Service Program Code PAYCONF now allows the operator to select the mode of operation for the external payload scoreboard. The modes of operation for the payload scoreboard are listed below:Count Up - Each load that placed in the body of the truck is added to the payload total.Count Down - Each load that is placed in the body of the truck is subtracted from the maximum weight of payload.Reweigh Only - The payload weight will be displayed after the truck shifts into second gear. The weight will be displayed on the payload scoreboard until the load has been dumped. Then the payload scoreboard will be blank.Note: This new functionality requires an updated payload scoreboard. Contact the METS Product Support for additional information.
Vehicles that are equipped with a body up position sensor are now required to lift the body at an angle greater than 25 degrees in order for VIMS to enter the "Dumping" status.Fixes
The default cycle time for the automatic lubrication function has been changed to 60 minutes.
The lubrication operation initiated by the service program code "LUBMAN" has been fixed.
The VIMS will revert to the factory default for automatic lubrication when new VIMS software is flashed into the VIMS ECM.
All known causes of the "CAB DISPLAY ERROR" have been fixed.
The "Fuel Used" parameter of the Payload Report are obtained from the Engine electronic control module during each payload cycle. The totals are now retained after the machine has been shut off.
VIMS version 4.0 hardware will not allow an earlier version of onboard software to be flashed. If you encounter this problem, contact the METS product support for a copy of Clear All software.
Output diagnostics for the Automatic Lubrication Solenoid have been activated.Information for the 10.1 Class of VIMS Onboard Software
