Remove the front idler assembly.

Remove cover (1). Remove track rollers (2). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Roller - Remove".

Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to recoil spring assembly (4).Note: Note the orientation of recoil spring assembly (4) for installation purposes.
Remove bolts (3). Lower recoil spring assembly (4) and remove. The weight of recoil spring assembly (4) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).Installation Procedure
Install recoil spring assembly (4) in the reverse order of removal. End By:
Install the front idler assembly.
