Remove the boom winch cable.
Remove the hook winch cable.
Remove the counterweight frame.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1).
Disconnect hose assemblies (2) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (3).
Disconnect harness assembly (4).
Disconnect hose assemblies (5) and (6).

Disconnect hose assemblies (7).
Remove clip (8).
Remove bolts (9) (not shown) and position manifold (10) away from the pipelayer frame.
Remove cable straps (11).

Disconnect hose assemblies (13)
Disconnect hose assemblies (15) from swivel tee (14).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to boom winch, hook winch, and winch frame (16). The combined weight of boom winch, hook winch, and winch frame (16) is approximately 862 kg (1900 lb).
Remove four bolts (18), the washers, and the retainers.
Remove four pin assemblies (17).
Remove boom winch, hook winch, and winch frame (16).Installation Procedure
Install boom winch, hook winch, and winch frame (16) in the reverse order of removal.
