This diagnostic code is recorded when the ECM detects the signal of the sensor as being out of calibration.In order to correct this diagnostic code, calibrate the sensor. Perform the calibration procedure for the position sensor. See Testing and Adjusting, "Position Sensor (Lift Linkage) - Calibrate" for more information.System Response:The diagnostic code of CID 0350 FMI 13 will be logged in the internal memory of the ECM. A level 1 warning will be generated. The kickouts will not function properly. The implements will function slowly. The snubbing of the lift cylinder will not function. The calibration procedure for the implement valves may not function properly. The "feather catch" feature for the lift linkage will not function properly.Note: The "feather catch" feature allows the lift linkage to slow down gradually when the control lever is moved abruptly from the lower position to the center position.Test Step 1. CALIBRATION
Perform the calibration procedure for the "Lift Cylinder" position sensor. Expected Result:The calibration procedure was performed successfully.Results:
YES - The calibration procedure was performed successfully. Clear the diagnostic code and resume normal machine operation.STOP
NO - The calibration was not successful. The diagnostic code is still active.Repair: It is unlikely that the ECM has failed. Repeat the calibration procedure for the "Lift Cylinder" position sensor. If the cause is not found, replace the sensor and perform the calibration again. If this does not eliminate the diagnostic code, replace the ECM.
