Attach the extension tube (J) to the support group (G) as shown.Note: The cable clevis must be attached to the rear strut support brace group. This cable restricts the travel of the strut group and blade when the shear pin has been sheared.Note: Maintain a supply of "3/8" x 4.0 inch Grade 8 cap screws", Caterpillar part number: 8S-9191 Bolts, to use as a shear pin. Use only the "3/8"" diameter "Grade 8" cap screw as a shear pin. Any other type of material or different diameter will not provide the protection required from extreme shock loads.
