Apply a thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male ends and inside diameter of the female ends of the exhaust manifolds. Remove excess sealer from the assembled joint. (3) Install the gaskets with the tabs downward on all six exhaust ports. Note: Before assembly, apply Loctite# 51008 C5A CO BSE A/S on the washer faces and to the 12 threads of the exhaust manifold .Note: Use assembly spacers at positions 11, 7 and 9 to align the exhaust manifolds. Remove the assembly spacers before final assembly. (2) Tighten locknuts 1 through 12 in the numerical tightening sequence shown in Illustration 1 to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
