Inspect all the electrical connectors between the suspect sensor and the 291-1740 Controller.
Refer to the electrical schematic for your application and check for the following conditions:
Loose connections
Corrosion
Moisture
If any of these conditions are present, make the necessary repairs.
Inspect all wiring between the suspect sensor and the 291-1740 Controller. Refer to the electrical schematic for your application and check for the following conditions:
Abrasion
Pinch points
If any of these conditions are present, make the necessary repairs.
Check that the suspect sensor is installed correctly and free from damage. Install the sensor correctly. If necessary, replace the suspect sensor.
If the issue is still present, then replace the exciting 291-1740 Controller with the new 460-6427 Controller.
