Remove bolt (4) and the washer that holds cable assembly (5) to alternator (1). Place cable assembly (5) aside.
Remove nut (7) (not shown) that holds wire harness (6) to alternator (1). Remove bolt (8), the washer, and the clip that holds wire harness (6) to alternator (1). Place wire harness (6) aside.

Loosen bolt (9) and the nut that holds alternator (1) to alternator support (10) .

Loosen bolt (11) and the nut that holds rod (12) to alternator support (10). Loosen two nuts (13) on rod (12). Position alternator (1) toward the engine.

Remove two nuts (15) and the washers that hold alternator guard (14) to alternator (1). Remove alternator guard (14) from alternator (1) .

Remove bolt (17), the washer, and the spacer that holds rod (12) to alternator (1). Place rod (12) aside. Remove belt (16) from alternator (1) .

Position alternator (1) to alternator support (10), as shown. Install bolt (9), the spacer, and the washer that holds alternator (1) to alternator support (10) .

Position rod (12) to alternator (1), as shown. Install bolt (17), the spacer, and the washer that holds rod (12) to alternator (1). Position belt (16) to the alternator (1), as shown.

Position alternator guard (14) to alternator (1), as shown. Install two nuts (15) and the washers that hold alternator guard (14) to alternator (1) .

Tighten bolt (11) and the nut that holds rod (12) to alternator support (10). Tighten two nuts (13) on rod (12) in order to tighten the belt (not shown). Use Tool (A) (not shown) in order to measure the belt tension. Refer to Specifications, "Belt Tension Chart" for the correct belt tension.

Position wire harness (6) to alternator (1), as shown. Install nut (7) (not shown) that holds wire harness (6) to alternator (1). Install bolt (8), the washer, and the clip that holds wire harness (6) to alternator (1) .
Position cable assembly (5) to alternator (1), as shown. Tighten bolt (4) and the washer that holds cable assembly (5) to alternator (1) to a torque of 6.2 .6 N m (55 5.5 lb in).

Position cable assembly (3) to alternator (1), as shown. Install nut (2) and the washer that holds cable assembly (3) to alternator (1) .End By: Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chocks (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
