Remove the counterbalance valve.

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
Remove plugs (1), plugs (2), and the O-ring seals from counterbalance valve (3).

Remove O-ring seals (4) and (5) from the plugs.

Remove springs (6) and valves (7).

Remove relief valves (8).

Disassemble the relief valves.
Remove backup rings (11) and O-ring seal (10).
Remove O-ring seal (20).
Remove nut (24).
Remove screw (15) and stop (14) from body (23).
Remove backup ring (22) and O-ring seal (21).
Remove piston (18).
Remove backup rings (19) and O-ring seal (13).
Remove springs (12) and (17).
Remove seat (9).Note: Currently, valve (16) is nonserviceable separately.

Remove bolts (25). Install Tooling (A) into the bolt holes. Loosen remaining bolts (25) evenly to relieve spring pressure. Remove bolts (25). Remove Tooling (A). Remove cover (26).

Remove O-ring seal (27), sleeve (28), spacer (29), spring (30), and guide (31).
Repeat Step 6 through Step 7 for the remaining cover.

Remove spool (32).

Remove plug (33) and ball (34) from guide (35). Remove guide (35) from the spool.
Repeat Step 10 for the other side of the spool.

Remove bolts (36). Remove half flanges (37), covers (38), and the O-ring seals.
